August COTM: Never Too Blue - Sean's LSB E92 BMW 335i on VOLK TE37SL Wheels

Yes, it’s a day early, but we just couldn’t wait to share this feature with the community. We have featured two different Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3s on the blog, but this is the first Laguna Seca Blue E92 feature, as well as the August Car of the Month. The car’s owner is Sean Rho. These two have been together since Sean ordered it in September of 2011 and a lot has changed since then, in a good way we think. When Sean received the car, he jumped on the forums and began to look for some inspiration. There he saw a few builds, including ModBargains’s own Senior Modification Expert Alan Wei’s 335i, which recently just won Best BMW at Extreme Autofest. From there, Sean found ModBargains and requested that Alan be his advisor for the remainder of his build. What you see now is a result of that relationship. To start, Sean’s E92 is lowered on KW V3 Coilovers, helping achieve a ride height to match the style of the gorgeous Volk Racing TE37SLs while still providing exceptional handling.  Sean’s Carbon Fiber CSL Trunk has been wrapped to match the car (we will get to that soon), but still exposed some carbon fiber for an added touch. Also out back Sean has Cyba Quad Tips, and a Duke Dynamics Quad Diffuser, adding the finishes touches to the rear of the E92. Flip this LSB beast around and you’ll find some more E92 exterior parts. The Arkym Aerosport E92 Carbon Fiber Front Lip adds some great aggressiveness while lowering the car’s profile even further. The Matte Black Kidney Grilles work well with the custom D51 headlights. Sean also added some M3 Side skirts, carbon fiber side skirt extensions, and then wrapped the entire E92 in Laguna Seca Blue, a color normally reserved for the E46. The Laguna Seca Blue wrap is flawless, and looks great mated with the TE37SLs. You may have noticed something yellow behind the TEs. Sean also has gone with an E92 Stoptech Big Brake Kit with yellow calipers to help bring this performance car to a stop. Small touches like the color matched E92 Painted Reflectors and wrapped black roof add to the details of this ride. Sean isn’t just just all about looks either, he has some serious E92 performance modifications as well. This includes a BMW Performance Exhaust, BMS JB4 Stage 2, BMS Performance Intake, Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe, and a VRSF Front Mount Intercooler. Through due diligence, and a little bit of help along the way, Sean has quite the build. With a good mix of form, function, and performance, its safe to say that he won’t have any trouble turning heads wherever he goes with his Laguna Seca Blue E92.
