Modification Expert Kirk Villeneuve picked up his BMW E82 1-Series back in October of 2011. Once receiving his beautiful 1-Series, straight from Germany, he instantly went to work, mapping out how he wanted to build his new toy. As the months went by, the car slowly transformed. Kirk put in a lot of footwork to set up sponsorships with many companies developing products for the then-new platform, and in return he attended tons of car meets and shows, marketing their products for them. Over the course of a year and half, Kirk lived up to his current title as Modification Expert, having completely changed the look of the 1M into a race inspired beast of a car. All told, a lot of sweat, effort and money resulted in a total of $35,410 worth of parts invested to turn this 1-series into a uniquely aggressive 1M.
Kirk’s BMW 1M, dubbed Einser M, is now one of the most recognizable BMW’s in the industry, having been featured in magazines, car show booths and achieved Car Of The Month status in a variety of venues. Kirk was a ModBargains’ loyal customer before becoming a Modification Expert here, and we featured his 1M as car of the Month back in June 2013.
