Quick Snap: E82 BMW 135i gets Remus Quad Exhaust + BC Coilovers @ ModAuto

Notice: Updated with corrected Fitment Info I love the iconic E82 BMW 135i, it really brought back the spirit of the pure BMW - small, light, RWD, straight six, lots of power. They’re fun little cars but the stock E82 1-Series suspension can still leave a lot to be desired, from excessive wheelgap to unwanted bodyroll. With the Chris Bangle curves it already looks good, but a few tweaks makes it even better with some help from Mod Expert Sean.

A set of BC Racing Coilovers for E82 135i was a great option, offering an amazing bang for the buck with 30-way adjustability for just a stack of ten benjamins as of press time.

REMUS USA Quad Exhaust with Remus’ Signature “Street Race” Style Tips

At Mod Auto, our install shop, we gave the car a proper euro look by replacing the boring single exit stock E82 Exhaust with a REMUS USA Quad Exhaust and also replaced the ‘blah’ stock wheels with a set of handsome flow-formed Sportline 8S 18x8.5 ET45 / 18x9.5 ET45 in gunmetal, which are in stock here at ModBargains, and paired those with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires 225/40-18 and 245/35-18 in the rear.

After getting the exhaust partway mounted, the next step was swapping out the rear diffuser. We swapped out the OEM M-Sport rear diffuser in favor of this Carbon Fiber performance style rear diffuser for E82 1-Series, which accommodates the quad tips quite nicely. Here’s a closer look at the exhaust and rear diffuser installed. You can even see the BC Racing coilovers in the rear. Looking good! With everything installed, we just had to take it off the lift and scope out our work!

Check out the finished look - the drop and the Sportline 8S Wheels pair brilliantly with the 1er, creating a gorgeous end result.
